FreeDawg Promotions is the event promotion brainchild of our festival director, Mr. Danny Freeman. The idea to officially launch the company spawned over a beer at The Steampacket Hotel and was a logical ‘next-step’ after a decade of successful NelliJam events.
Danny’s enthusiasm for all things music and his genuine love of the south coast has proven the perfect formula for success as an event coordinator. He is a local secondary school music teacher (with 20 years experience), owner and operator of Surf Sound Recording Studios and drummer for The Spindrift Saga – the south coast’s premier original rock act.
FreeDawg Promotions is a way of consolidating 20-plus years of passion and success in the music industry into a driving force for events on the coast. Our goal is simple – put original live music back on the radar in the area we love so much. That is what drives us!
